No, I do not believe Linux has a place in the average home or workplace.

I do not believe it is only for the technically capable... I would say it is
for those with 'tough skin'.

I think it IS worth the effort to help new people use Linux.  There are
people who have "what it takes" to use Linux, but don't know about it.  Many
of these people, I'd say, are in the highschool/college age group.  Maybe
some in junior high.  I think we should further explore the possibility of
doing presentations at these sorts of places.

Have you come up with any more contact info for this, James?

I'm willing to work with you to get something like that going... So if
you're interested in that, we have two volunteers now to work on a project
to attract new users...

Well I do think RH and Corel are screwed up... :-)   But I think there is
still room for new membership in ACLUG.  I don't think the average CompUSA
shopper should be the target, tho.
