Maybe Freeciv may not be named Freeciv in future but 'Ultimate
Strategy Simulator' since it's able to simulate Civ1, Civ2, CTP,
CTP2, SMAC, MOM, MOO, PG, AG, FG(Fantasy General), Pirates and SM
Colonization.(notice several games by Sid Meier) using
'/data/*/*.ruleset' files.
That's exactly what came to my mind when the copyright flame war started a
short while ago. And IMHO that's where Freeciv should be heading. Of
course it will be a lot of work, but it will also greatly broaden Freeciv's
appeal and attract more coders.
