Well, we are really not understanding what exactly you are doing with the
RPM package.  Exactly what package did you grab?  (List the exact URL of the
RPM you grabbed.)  Then tell us what command you are using to install the
RPM.  (Or are you using some type of GUI based RPM manager?  If so, what
kind?)

Also it may help if you tell us what your experience level in Linux and/or
RPM package management system.

Also if you post some info on your system, we may be able to point to
certain direction to go to.  (i.e.  if you are running Gnome, then you might
try GnoRPM or whatever.)
