Um, poor choice of words on my part, I'm afraid.  The 'reformatting'
I'm talking about is limited to moving some stuff out of the if
statement, which means removing two spaces from the beginning of every
line.  (As far as I am aware, anyway--I did this by hand, and might
have made a mistake.)
