Hi
I am posted i near egal idea, Polar Bears as barbarian in poles. this is
very fun, i thinck. but its need to make a ia for it(some realistic
bear).
A probabilistic danger is more simple to code and a litle more realistic
than isberg IA ;-).

i am thinked too in waves of fog ( see view = 0), and storm some damage
in all unit, not only triremes. but it need a lot of new code. (not unit
fog/storm)

for isberg i think in dinamic danger ocen tiles, changing in random
times, near polar zone (danger for all naval unit), a static version for
it is very easy to code but need a visible tile and new code for it in
client.

This 2 patchs, the probabilistic danger for triremes, and a
probabilistic danger for ground unit is a first easy step to make polar
zones more fun. if others players/developpers like it we can make a more
hard work.

after my patch for sphere like topologie i go make a more hard work.

thx.
Marcelo
