If you want to make it a lot faster for new coders to
start being productive, choose perl

On GNU/Hurd OS there are even filesystem servers writen in perl :-)
(no, not /dev/null nor ext2fs nor anything very important)

this shows that for perl there is nothing impossible to be done
if there were something impossible for perl,
you would simply make library in C and perl wrapper to it :-)
