Simplest way to incorporate email addresses is probably to allow an @
character in leadernames or in connection names and if present that
indicates email notifaction is desired as well as the address to which
such notification should be sent.

If you are going to modify code anyway, then where is it decided that its
exclusively one player's turn, that all other players have pressed "turn
done" ? Is it in their client or in the server? If its the server that
tells the client its time to start flashing the "turn done" button then
the server could be modified to send an email as well.

If on the other hand the time to flash the "turn done" button is decided
by the client, then anyones client could be modified to also check whether
the other players turns are done - it would have to do this anyway to know
if yours is the only turn not done - and email whoever is the last turn
undone.

However, sometimes more than one player could be holding things up, so if
you are going to allow email addresses to be used as names, a dialogue
showing all the players whose names are email addresses, with options for
emailing them, would be appropriate.
