A question about the FS client:

Is there going to be support for screen depths less than true colour?
Or will this be handled by the individual platform code?

It's just that the default trident/isotrident graphic sets only use
~64 colours which is the depth that I run Freeciv on my Amiga.

As it seems the FS will eventually replace the MUI client I'm somewhat
concerned that I'll be forced to run it on a 256 or true-colour
screen, which would create a MASSIVE and largely unnecessary slow
down.

I've made my own tileset in which all the graphics use the same 64
colour palette (result: looks prettier with little dithering, and much
faster).

It would be great if the FS client or at least the Amiga part of it
supported predefined palettes and screen depths.
