I agree here. I also really liked the idea of an accumulating chance
of a revolution/civil war. A fundamentalist form of government is usually
run by a very powerful, charismatic (or frightening) leader. People are
too afraid to be unhappy. But what's the longest-running fundamentalist
form of government that's ever existed with one leader and no sort of
uprisings or civil war? Have the chance of civil war grow, so anyone who
tries to abuse this will have more serious consequences later on.
