I imagine that if you make smaller tiles the default, so that wrapping happens
often, you would get gamers complaining.  They would say, "It looked like my
enemy had 20 knights surrounding me, but really it was 10 knights on one side
and the other 10 were illusions!  That's not fair, how am I supposed to know
what is real and what is a copy?"

I would also like to point out that gamers don't write clients, Vasco and I
do/did.
