  My favorite way of playing an endgame against the computer, rather than
just sending in the tanks, artillery, and bombers, is to switch to Democracy,
set the tax rate to 90% or 100%, and set all cities to produce either
Capitalization, Spies/Diplomats, or Transports.  Then I just buy the computer's
civilization.  (of course it only works if you're already winning by a lot,
which generally only happens when I'm playing against 'easy' computer
players :) )
