This is a site that allows you to dowmload their version 2.9 and after
compiling on Linux I made a boot floppy that does nothing but test the
memory with several options.

I had a memory dimm (ddr) for an athalon that I found was definitely bad
with this. I was able to identify which dimm was bad and it followed
even moving the dimm to a different slot and relocating it in relation
to other dimms in the system.

Prior to doing this test I suspected the motherboard was bad but had no
way to tell which was at fault because I had no errors, just
intermittent hangs or process failures and it only occured when the
memory slots were full.

The neat thing is that you can put the image on you drive and set up
lilo or grub to boot it and you do not even need the floppy to do it.
