At work we run ADSL 1.5M/128k and we serve off it (with full permission
from
SWbell) we got 5 static IPs. 

As far as connections, it works pretty well ,I 've gotten 150k/s d/l, and
serving at 128k one test from dsl to cable was 12k/s
