I have no doubts about it's technical capability to do so.  The question
is whether the service providers will.

This is promising... I guess it's time to contact my SWBell customer
representative.  Their complicated web pages suck for selling their
products.

No, not excellent, but how bad are they if all I want is a connection to
the net and want to run my own services?  It would be rather sad if
swbell.net had less connectivity to the net than SouthWind.  

And SW says they'll be "competitive" when they do support ADSL.  I wonder
if they'll ever lower the cost of dedicated modems.
