So use a CDDA grabber, grab the audio tracks to WAV, MP3, or OGG or
something (WAV is best if you plan to burn it to another audio CD, because
it retains all of the original quality). Then burn it to an audio CD.
Again... The copy-protected nature, multi-session nature, or spiritual
essence of the source CD is completely irrelevant to how you BURN a music
CD.
So long as you have an audio file, you can burn it to an audio CD. It
doesn't matter if the original was "copy protected," was multi-session, or
came from your great-great-great-great-great grandmother from beyond the
grave as prophesied by the woodland elf gods.

I have burned copyprotected data CD's using dd in command line and they
worked. I haven't tried using the dd command to copy music CD's.
Windoze computers wouldn't burn a viable CD of the copyprotected program
because the tracks were different sizes. I have one copyprotected music
CD that the windoze computer won't even play, but the linux computer
will play. I just want to make backups of my music CD's so that when I
go to a friends house or to work, I take my backup CD's and not my
originals. I keep the originals safe at home. ~Anne
