i've seen some e-mails before about which cablemodem to buy, and since my
P.O.S. bestdata (at the time I bought it, RoadRunner actually *suggested*
it) is my new paperweight, it looks like i'm in the market for a new one...
the cox guy told me to look at either a toshiba or surfboard... any
recommendations? i'd prefer to get of as inexpensive (not cheap) as i can,
but if it means spending a few extra bucks for reliability and longevity,
it's worth it. what is a decent price for a good cablemodem and where do
you all recommend purchasing one?

thanks,
gLaNDix
