[linux-help] Re: Boot problem kernels 2.4x (latest)

just a tho't, but have you upgraded all the progs/libs the kernel is 
dependant on?  i believe there's a file in /usr/src/linux/ about that, 
but the filename escapes me...  i know i had problems when first trying 
the 2.2.x kernel before i followed those instructions....
