Hello,
  Well I noticed my kernel image was larger than 800K, I recompiled it and
it came upto 767K but still the same problem!! The exact message after it
hangs up is:

Loading linuximage..........
Uncompresing Linux...... Ok, booting the kernel.

 and here it hangs!!! Every step during compilation went fine.
