[linux-help] Re: forget root password

thanks for your reply, it did not work..  I can change other users passwords, 
but I
still am unable to login as root (or "su").. Before yesterday I could "su" to 
maintain
Netscape's cache files etc.  but now NOTHING seems to be able to modify the 
root's
password....
