3c590 is (to my knowledge) always PCI and is probably called an Etherlink
III.

3c509 is (to my knowledge) always ISA and is probably also called Etherlink
III.

3c905 is (to my knowledge) always PCI and I don't think is ever called an
Etherlink III.


The 3c590 and 509's should *always* work in Linux, regardless of the
revision number.

The 3c905C's do *not* work in Linux--all other revisions (3c905B, 3c905A,
etc) do (to my knowledge).

Make sense? :-)  (Don'cha love it when they make 3 or more cards all with
the same model #, just with the digits in a different order?)
