I played two games on the same map with this patch (gen2 3 islands 2
teamed up AIs).

1) First game was classic smallpox with attack after magnetism. I
modified it a little with few Workers around 500BC.
Here's what I managed to achieve in 350AD:
Points: 231
Population: 169000
Trade: 228
Production: 222
Cities: 69
Techs: 30
With 50/50 tax/science: 139 bulbs per turn and +109 gold per turn
Wonders: Almost finished Magellan
I should note that I turned to republic very late - in 40th turn (Really
don't know why).
2) The second strategy was something like nowadays largepox - few big
cities supported with settlers from smaller cities. My government was
monarchy. This is what I achieved in 350AD:
Points: 229
Population: 138000
Trade: 159
Production: 124
Cities: 34
Techs: 32
With 50/50 tax/science: 202 bulbs per turn and +59 gold per turn
Wonders: Collosus, Copernicus, Magellan, Pyramids, Sheakspeare

I could achieve much better result in this second strategy - I made
many small mistakes.

I will attach savegames as a comment.

IMO:
It is possible to play largepox, but it's very complicated. I think that
I could beat smallpoxer with the strategy I used if the fight begins
after 500AD.
