I'm not sure how LILO or GRUB will work with the bios overlay program I
have to use to run the 18Gig HD.

I already have DragonLinux loaded on the laptop. Since it is set up to reside
on a FAT32 file system it has to use loadlin.

  I edited msdos.sys. Changed DUALBOOT=1 and BOOTGUI=0.
I have the menu for Win98SE come up so I can select normal, safe mode, etc.
Then have a menu in autoexec.bat where I can select DragonLinux, Win, Command
Prompt or Other. I use loadlin in autoexec.bat to load DL.

Since this setup already works, I wanted to just add Red Hat (or Mandrake) to
the menu I already have. After reading up on loadlin this week it seems that
it should be as simple as copying the kernel file to the FAT32 partition and
using
loadlin to slap it onto RAM overwriting command.com.

Strangely... when I tried using an icon on the Win desktop it seemed to leave
something behind or mess up some hardware settings... Linux would run,
but Xwindows would not display right. I have to have booted straight into
dos at command prompt for Gnome to work right.
