How many windows in the pager? Try pulling the NS
window down
a bit by the id bar (?) and go to the lower left
window and 
resize from there.

Turn on the number lock and hit ctrl-alt-+ and see
if anything
happens. If not, maybe revisit Xconfigurator and
give yourself
some more choices...
