In my own case I know that one of the fans in my case is going
out, but my power supply is fine. In general, a power supply should
last for a very long time since it has no moving parts -- except for
its own fan :-) Like your CPU or motherboard, basically -- should be
no trouble.
If the fan you're talking about that's bad is the one in the power
supply, replace the power supply. Otherwise, just replace the fan in
question.
