1. change the device boot order to not include floppy or put it after hard
drive(s)

2. set the bios password (not recommended to skip this, since it's actually
one of the *easier* things to do)

3. remove the monitor (assumes computer is on a network)

4. remove the floppy drive

5. lock the case down, so no one can steal it

6. lock the case shut, so no one can open it and reset the bios or install
floppy drive

7. lock the room/location, so no one has physical access to the computer in
the first place

8. get court order and armed guards to restrict your little kid brother
from getting within half a mile of your linux box, which is the person you
wanted to restrict it from in the first place...   ;-)
