I went through netconf again, trying to get linux to see eth1 (pci) and now
linux can't find either eth0 (isa) or eth1. ifconfig did show lo and eth0;
now shows only lo.   Tried netcfg again and got the following reply
(below).  Any chance this means anything?  There is no man entry for either
netcfg or netconf.
