You're really making it harder than it needs to be.  is_normal is the best. 
is_canonical would be ok too, but longer.  There is no reason to go looking
for another adjective, normal is the obvious one.  You might as well use
"is_propitious_position" or "is_ameliorated_position" if you're trying to make
the simple complex.

is_normalized is wrong.  See this:
