A feature that can't be disabled is a bug.

Will be a problem for novice players. I'm not a novice player but it
would annoy me too; I don't mind if it's called gold/shield/trade or
aaa/bbb/ccc, I get used with it, but changing it depending the nation I play
is annoying. I don't see why only gold should be translated and what makes
it so special.
