    A very good idea, however, there would need to be certain conditions 
imposed on this disaster.   First it could not happen in areas that have 
jungle, desert or swamp - one for realism, to to make sure there is at least 
some portions of the planet still habitable.   Second the glacier would need 
to move slowly enough to give players time to resettle.  Also, the glacier 
would have to receed after a number of turns - preferably between fifty and 
one hundred.   Finally, this would have to be an option or only available at 
the hardest settings - one coan imagine the anguish a player would feel at 
having his/her entire civ destryoed by a glacier.
