Even though I'm a Debian user, I must agree with this.  The Freeciv
project is about developing a mostly-platform-independent game, not
about developing a Debian package.  If special pains are taken to provide
Debian-specific information, then soon there may be cries to include Red
Hat-specific stuff, and then Solaris/SVR4 package stuff, etc.  It could
get out of hand.
