John Stonebraker is the only person I know who has put time into
the AI. I would like to, but haven't found the time. Occasional
playtesting for compatibility of Civ1 and Civ2 is all I have managed since
July.
I did post a couple of things that I think would improve life.
In particular the warning that a city which is producing a granary
will grow in population just before the granary is produced and that you
should throttle that city's growth I think would be a really useful message
to implement.
        Wow, that's a scary sentence.
