Uhm... but Linux is a clone.

Ballmer's statement is mostly accurate--his conclusions are faulty, though.
1) Linux is a clone of an operating system that is more along the lines of
30-40 years old (which technically can be "20-plus years old").  2) Windows
itself is a clone of an operating system that is a clone of an operating
system 20-plus years old.  :)
