I'm sure originally it came with Windows 3.1 on it.  I bought it used, and
then replaced the hard drive... so when I got it, it effectively had nothing
on it.

Not that any of that matters.

The point I was making still holds:  It's easier to use Windows than to
recompile every Linux binary on your system to make it operate fast enough
to compete with Windows.  Period.
