Well while I must say that I personally love seeing all the Cox price
increases ;-] I don't think that $49.99 is a high price to pay for
broadband.  Compare that to pre-broadband prices.  It was quite common for
people who were online all the time to put in a second phone line.  $20 a
month for dialup plus $30 for a phone line is $50 a month for narrowband.
The fact that you can now get 30-50 times the speed for the same price is
incredible.

What I do think Cox is going to find is that the level of service they
could get away with at $29.99 when DSL was $55 they are not going to be
able to get away with at $50.  At some point there just isn't any point
any longer.
