After I traded Saturdays so that I could help with the Saturday Sale and
then found out that we weren't going to be there, I decided to go
anyways. There were a few people from the group there. There were 2
vendors at the Saturday Sale selling books. One of the vendors had a
large selection of books and he had linux books at a very good price. I
bought a couple of them, one is called Linux Complete, Second Edition.
John Alexander recommended the book to me when we had the networking
workshop. I bought it for $16 and it is a very good book that I have
been recommending to people who want to learn the basics of linux. The
book gives references to other Cybex books if someone want to read more
detailed info on the subject covered, ie security, networking, gnome,
etc. He said that he plans to be back next month with more books on a
variety of computer subjects.

Another vendor had the acrylic squares to decorate the computer with.
He brought some linux squares also. I bought on that has Tux with the
quote "I don't do windows" and several others. He also had some
Jayhawker squares that several people have been asking for. He said
that if there is a logo that we want, then it will make it to sell.

Members were there promoting linux, but not selling cd's. ~Anne
