Indeed, ACLUG started as a project of the WSU chapter of ACM.  WSU-ACM
handled ACLUG's financial affairs for most of the time I was involved
with it.  It was started to replace WALUG, which had been defunct for
1-2 years prior to ACLUG coming around.
