As a beta tester for DSL here in Clearwater, I can say that it does
work with Linux, even if they are using PPPOE (PPP Over Ethernet)
The service so far is solid - much more so than my dial-up connection
ever was.  The only complaint is bandwidth, but I think that will
change once they get another T1 in.  I downloaded the 1st disk of
Debian-2.1_r4 last nigh
modem and nearly 7x whayou might get on a 56k dial-up.  I'm sold!
