I have succeeded at work. You will need the install disk, as window$ will whine
and cry about being transplanted, and will want to install new drivers. If you
do not have the install disk, it will crash. If you do have the disk(same one
used for install) just run the install new hardware, and windows will do the
rest. Worst case, Just put the cd in and run [cd-drive]:\setup.exe This will
re-install windows. But, window$ may see your entire hard drive. When I first
installed, I re-installed windows, and it overwrote my Linux, so I made a d
drive
partition on my hard drive Window$ was happy to consume the drive as a virtual
drive. AS soon as Win95 was on line, I took d drive and partitioned it for
linux
and installed linux. Windows never cought on! It assumed the drive was removed
from the computer, and happily removed it from "my computer" THey have lived
happily ever after!
