I did a search and could not find any LINUX driver for the SiS line of
software device driven hardware.

Which two of my systems must have for either built in Video or Sound and on
the new system the modem is also software driven modem.. being this is the
second 'WIN' modem for me to purchase.

i keep hearing about how linux does not have hardware support.
in almost 4 years of linux the only hardware problem i've ever had was a S3
that i bought
a few months back(of course now it can be used with the latest Xfree).

just lucky i guess
