(unlike jonathan hall, i like icq, and it's really handy to me)

anyway, in my opinion, the most advanced ICQ client for linux is Licq
(licq.wibble.net)....  the one i've been using recently which isn't nearly
as advanced, but looks nice (uses gtk+) is GnomeICU (www.gnome.org) ...
somewhere there is a page w/ all the ICQ clients, but it's in my netscape
bookmarks on my linux side, and right now, i'm in NT...
