ok, kewl... the 1220S is the one i have been looking at... i'll let you know
when / if i get it, and if i need help setting up the scsi card...

i guess my question now is, how do i use my scanner in linux? i know scanners
always come w/ some sort of scanning software (like DeskScan w/ my 'rents HP),
but what about linux? i assume they don't come w/ software, but what software
do i look at for support for it?

also, are those cards single scsi cards, or can you hook up more than 1 scsi
componant up? i'm looking at purchasing a scsi cd-r someday, and would rather
not
have to buy a new scsi controller...
