Yea, but the 2.0.34 way is kinda clunky and requires a bit of knowlage
about how the inards of your box work. Not that I mind being able to
control what IO address and interrupt my adapters use, just why should I
need to know if there are no conflicts?

Neither am I... I'm working on finding the specs for an automotive
applicaation, but have not had the time to find anything yet. I'm sure
there are some data collection products for Linux too... Ahh So many
ideas, so little time and money... Just wait... Somday I'll have my 71
Bug fully instermented and controlled by my lap top... Pitty the fool
who tries to start it without the laptop and proper passwords:} I'd just
better look out because when the audio player is running and I'm trying
to download the latest kernel source as I am fighting the traffic on
Kellog and I run out of memory and swap space.... Well you get the
picture..

I'll be buying a faster laptop and more memory.
