You may be joking (I can't tell, as no sarcasm marks were present), but I've
been looking in the past at implementing a gopher server on top of either
PLT Scheme http://www.plt-scheme.org/ or GNU Guile Serveez. It's still on
my todo list, but there's a long queue on there.
