so tehre are uninit. variables...
maybe other cflags than the default ones cause some sort of pointer/value
problem leading to this crash...
i used -O2 -march=athlon-tbird by hardcoding this into configure...
and the resulting binary crashes every time...
ill try again with some other flags and this time -g again...
