Nobody has given a backtrace or any extra information needed to actually
find the bug. I tried changing my locale to French but I couldn't get a
crash (perhaps the bug was fixed in the .po file)?

I believe that this isn't a problem of charsets or or translations.
It's just a bug. Someone's copying a string without checking the
length. But I don't even know where it's happening.

So, can anyone give detailed instructions on how to reproduce it?
Please include your exact language settings.
