Why not implement IRC stylish commands?

I.e.

/msg peter hi!   <-- private message
/team lets rock! <-- team message

I've seen many beginners having problems with Freeciv chat (beginners
never read docs either..). Normally people expect "peter: hi!" going to be
public.
