Well, I was thinking of SQL in general.... So it's not re-inventing,
just re-using... Which I think is a good thing... :)

Really, I doubt you can do it much easier than simply making a
parenthesis enclosed, comma seperated list of assignments...
That's certainly not specific to sql...
