btw, there is no such decleration. It is actually quite different.

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or
prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of
speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to
assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

This same of group of men wrote...

"...WE hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created
equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with
certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the
Pursuit of Happiness..." 

So what was actually written into law was a seperation of state from
church, which does not directly translate into church from state. "Bill
of Rights" provides state sanctioned tolerance. 

What would seperate Church from State would actually be called
"Marxism", brought on by "The Communist Manifesto" which leads to
"Communism", which was first implemented by USSR, not the United States.

That's just my flame-baiting 2 cents.
