After playing Civ2 and searching on the Web, I found that the value for
the one time bonus payment when establishing a trade route in Freeciv is 4
times too small -- the basic formula is correct, but the x2 modifiers are
applied backwards, i.e. it should then be doubled if the destination city
belongs to another player or is on a different continent rather than
halved for being not so.  Similarly, the continuing trade bonus is also
too small by a factor of 2.  This helps to explain why it israrely worth
the trouble to establish trade routes in Freeciv.  This patch fixes the
problem.
