My point is that to people used to it (and I thought this first time I saw
it) C++ syntax is simple all the time. I thought this in comparison to BASIC
(including traditional BBC or modern variants like MSVB), Pascal (with which
I have a passing acquaintance), and various scripting languages. C++ seems
more natural to me.

Of course, all entirely subjective.
